Gospel of Matthew.

 

8:21 Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”

 

22But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead." 

 

This is the first mention of zombies in history. Jesus is saying that the living can be dead or the living dead. Religions, mystical societies and their leaders don't define anything physical as being alive. They define the spirit as life. Anyone who is not in touch with the spirit, the soul or the true self is dead and from the point of Jesus Christ and other spiritual teachers that is worse than physical death. Jesus considered these people, who were much more religious than people are today, as being dead, but people today are much more materialistic and fleshy and the situation is much worse today. 

 

9:16 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. 17Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved." 

 

This passage is talking about a new age or a new society and the fact that the new system or people with the new way of thinking aren't compatible with the old system. In this case Jesus is referring to society and the world changing from the Age of Aeries to the Age of Pieces, but this applies to society and the world changing from the Age of Pieces to the Age of Aquarius. The new way of thinking and the new society that emerges from it is not compatible to the old system. Jesus is saying that people need to throw off the old system and not continue to try and keep it going. Resistance to change causes a lot of hardship and people need to learn to accept change. People also need to realize that they are not part of the old or new systems they are the flow itself that makes use of the system, but a change of that flow requires a change of the system. It should be mentioned that materialism, consumerism, being a wage slave, atheism, religious fundamentalism and other labels, are part of the old system. Some materialistic people believe that greed and consumerism are part of the new system, those things are the old system making a last stand before it dies out.

 

9:23 When Jesus entered the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd, 24he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him. 25After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. 26News of this spread through all that region. 

 

The part of this passages where Jesus saids, "The girl is not dead but asleep." is a cryptic statement that many Biblical scholars haven't figured out. Jesus is saying here that forgetting about who you are before you entered the body is death. Being asleep in the Matrix is also death. The more fleshy someone is the dead they are. Resurrection means resurrecting the soul or the true self. This passage is about a miracle from Jesus in resurrecting a girl's body from the dead but the deeper message in this passage is about resurrecting the soul or the true self as well. 

 

10:37 “Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; 38and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

 

This passage is not talking about physical death, but rather the death of the fake physical idendity and becoming the soul again. If someone gains in their physical life and their false idendity, they will lose themselves. The statement, "and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.", is saying that you need to die and be resurrected like Jesus. It doesn't mean that you need to join a group, adopt a label and do everything the group tells you to do for the rest of your life. Nor does it mean that you need to wear a crucifix around your neck or have crucifixes in your house etc. By die I mean the death of the artifical self and by resurrected I mean resurrecting the soul or your true self. If you resurrect yourself then you will be worthy of Jesus.

 

11:25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.

13:44“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.

 

This passage occurs in the chapter that talks about the end of the age, or what is called the end of this world. It implies that the Kingdom of Heaven will only be discovered at the end of the age.

13:47 “Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. 48When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. 49This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous 50and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

 

The fish in the lake represents the people in this world. Pulling the fish out of the lake represents taking the people out of the lower world and into the higher world. A fisherman doesn't convert the fish in water, but pulls the fish out of the water altogether. This passage is similar to this passage in Luke 5:10, "Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people." These passages are about something much bigger than making people go to church. They want to pull people out of this reality altogether. Just like a fish doesn't know it is in water, so people don't know they are in water separated from the higher realm. The passage in Matthew 8:30 is pretty strange because demons beg Jesus Christ to go into the pigs and then the pigs run into the water and die, "Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. 31The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.” 32He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water." Does the water represent the world? Do the demon possessed pigs represent something unclean in the higher world of the humans? Why would the pigs immediately go and kill themselves in the water after Jesus Christ told them to go into the pigs? Unless the death actually means these unclean spirits entering this world. Pigs were very unclean animals to the ancient Jews and it's surprising that they had them in ancient Israel.   

 

Matthew 14:16 Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

 

17“We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

 

18“Bring them here to me,” he said. 19And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

 

This passage of the five loaves and two fish feeding 5000 people may have some hidden symbolism in it. The two fish represent the Age of Pieces, the 12 baskets of broken pieces that were left over represent the 12 signs of the Zodiac, each lasting 2160 years, being completed and the end of the precessional cycle of 25 920 years. The 5000 men may represent the approximate number of years in this age that history has existed from about 3000 BC up till today. In the Mayan religion the precessional age of 25 920 years was divided up into 5 ages of approximately 5000 years each and that is certaintly reflected in the present age that we are in. We have very little knowledge of what the world was like before that period of time.

 

14:22 "Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, 24 and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. 25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. 27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid." 28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water." 29 “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!" 31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?" 32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God."

 

It's interesting that the Jesus walking on water story occurs right after the Jesus feeding the 5000 people story. These two stories are connected to each other. It's commonly acknowledged by Christians that the Jesus walking on water story has metaphors in it and it represents the state of the world and spirituality. Jesus going to the mountain represents that he is leaving the disciples behind in the world to defend for themselves. The water represents the material world and the boat represents those who haven't fallen into a state of ignorance. The Christians say that the boat represents the physical church, but it's bigger than that. The mountain represents Heaven because it's a raised area of land that connects Heaven and Earth. In the Tarot cards, the mountain always represents a connection between Heaven and Earth. That is why he is praying there. He prays to connect himself to Heaven. The wind and the waves represent the problems of the world that challenge the people in the boat. In the occult everything in the physical world is in a state of movement and everything in the spiritual world is in a state of rest. Peter sinking into the sea represents him sinking into the world and the wind represents movement. Jesus stopped the wind, which is the movement of the physical world and saved Peter. See the page called the Concept of Rest for more information about this subject. Alister Crowley made an interesting comment about water and rest in his book Tao Teh King, "Who can clear muddy water? Stillness will accomplish this. Who can obtain rest? Let motion continue equably, and it will itself be peace." The purpose of meditation is to create stillness of the water and make it clearer so that the higher world can be seen and discerned. The wind or movement of the physical world makes the water muddy so that most people will never be able to comprehend the higher world. Jesus walking on water represents him walking on the world and not sinking into it. Walking on water means that he is above the world and not in it. Peter sinks into it because he doesn't have the spirituality that Jesus has and he is sinking into ignorance. Only by faith, or knowledge of himself, can he stay above the world and not sink into it. Jesus walking on water is connected to the end of the astrological ages that Jesus feeding the 5000 represents.

 

Psalm 107:23 has a similar passage to Matthew 14:22, "Some went out on the sea in ships; they were merchants on the mighty waters. 24They saw the works of the Lord, his wonderful deeds in the deep. 25For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves. 26They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. 27They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits’ end. 28Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. 29He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. 30They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven."

 

Very few people will understand what these passages mean. Being in the physical world is like being at sea with a storm and God's domain is one of stillness. When the storm was stilled, the people on the boat could find their way to the higher world, which is hidden by the movement of the physical world.   

   

15:13 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit."

 

15:34 “How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked.

 

“Seven,” they replied, “and a few small fish.”

 

35He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. 36Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. 37They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

 

This is similar to Matthew 14:16 except there are seven loaves and the fish leave seven basketfuls of leftover pieces. The number 7 is an important number in the Bible and in numerology as well and it's not an accident that the number 7 is used here. 

 

16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. 26What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

 

This is similar to the passage in Matthew 10:37. The part in this passage that says, "he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.", means that someone must deny their physical self and their identity and become their soul or themselves again. Taking up the cross means they they must die and be resurrected themselves like Jesus. Then comes this famous line, "What good will it be for a man if he gains the gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?". This line is saying that the soul, or you, is more important than than the world and everything in it, even if most people can't understand it, but the world is an illusion and nothing in it can be prescious because it doesn't exist. This passage from The Apocryphon of James, 6:1-15, in the Nag Hammadi Library is relevant to what this statement is about , "The Lord answered and said, "Verily, I say unto you, none will be saved unless they believe in my cross. But those who have believed in my cross, theirs is the kingdom of God. Therefore, become seekers for death, like the dead who seek for life; for that which they seek is revealed to them. And what is there to trouble them? As for you, when you examine death, it will teach you election. Verily, I say unto you, none of those who fear death will be saved; for the kingdom belongs to those who put themselves to death." In the occult the cross represents the four elements of the physical world and it can represent time and seasons as well. Taking up the cross can mean the spirit taking up the physical. 

 

17:27“But so that we may not offend them, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours." 

 

18:1At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

 

2He called a little child and had him stand among them. 3And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

 

5“And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. 6But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. 

 

19:4“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 5and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 6So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." 

 

19:10The disciples said to him, “If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.”

 

19:14Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." 

 

22:23 That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question. 24“Teacher,” they said, “Moses told us that if a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and have children for him. 25Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and since he had no children, he left his wife to his brother. 26The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh. 27Finally, the woman died. 28Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?”

 

29Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. 31But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, 32‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living."

 

The ancient Hebrews and modern Jews don't really speculate what the afterlife is like because the Old Testament doesn't really talk about it. That may explain why this passage says the Sadducees believed there is no resurrection. But this passage also reveals how clueless the religious authorities were about the nature of the spirit world, they had a materialistic or worldly view of spirituality. The important thing about this passage is that Jesus says that resurrection is about the resurrection of the soul, spirit or the true self and that was how Jesus defined it. Resurrection isn't about resurrection of the flesh, that is a materialistic way of seeing things. Jesus and other religions never defined anything physical as being life, only the spirit is life. Compare the last statement, "He is not the God of the dead but of the living." with the passage in Matthew8:21-22, "Another disiple said to him, "Lord, first let me go and bury my father." But Jesus told him, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead." These two passages clearly show that Jesus only defined the spirit as being life God is the God of the spiritual and not the fleshy.

 

23:1Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2“The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4They tie up heavy loads and put them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them. (That sounds very familiar, there are plenty of religions that put a lot of emotional, financial and physical burdens on their members and make them do most of the hard work, while the leaders live in luxury.) 

 

5“Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them ‘Rabbi.’

 

8“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. 9And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10Nor are you to be called ‘teacher,’ for you have one Teacher, the Christ. 11The greatest among you will be your servant. 12For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

 

13“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. (Religions have convinced everyone that they are the only way to Heaven but they themselves do not enter it because of their love of money and power and they don't want their members entering Heaven because there is no money and power in Heaven. The symbol that the Catholic church uses are the keys, which symbolize the keys to Heaven. Also the Vatican is laid out like a keyhole, symbolizing that they think they are a doorway to Heaven, but this doorway is shut and they keep the keys to themselves, as evidenced by the fact that the Catholic church used to ban the Bible and persecute anyone who wanted to go their own way. Other religions act the same way as well.)

 

15“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are.

 

16“Woe to you, blind guides! You say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’ 17You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred? 18You also say, ‘If anyone swears by the altar, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gift on it, he is bound by his oath.’ 19You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred? 20Therefore, he who swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it. 21And he who swears by the temple swears by it and by the one who dwells in it. 22And he who swears by heaven swears by God’s throne and by the one who sits on it.

 

23“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.

 

25“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.

 

27“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean. 28In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

 

29“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. 30And you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our forefathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ 31So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32Fill up, then, the measure of the sin of your forefathers! (Religions honor the saints of those who their forefathers killed. The Catholic church is a good example of that. Their forefathers in the Roman empire killed saints in a very brutal way and they continued that tradition in the middle ages with the Inquisition in particular.) 

 

33“You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? 34Therefore I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. 35And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36I tell you the truth, all this will come upon this generation.

 

The ranting that Jesus gave about the Pharisees can be applied many religions and cults that have existed afterward as well. The problem with religions in general is that they have a materialistic form of spirituality and they become very obsessed with power and wealth. The people who belong to religions become very heirarchical to the point where they have no individuality and their religion become a mental prison, sometimes a physical dictatorship as was the case in Europe in the middle ages. Religions become arrogant and start putting themselves beside God or between man and God and convince people that they are they are the door to God and the spirit world. People in religions really identify themselves an Earthly label and they judge others by whether they belong to their group or not. They don't judge other people by their virtues or their characters, just by whether they belong to their group. This is wrong for two reasons, it is very materialistic and is goes against love. The most offensive word there is is the word exclusive and religious people are some of the biggest offenders when it comes to that, in addition to racists, classists and anyone who judges others by whether they wear expensive clothes etc.

 

24:32“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 

 

There has been a ripening of things like knowledge, science, technology etc, and this occurs at the end of the Age of Pieces as well as the end of the precessional cycle. This also coincides with the 2012 date given by the Mayans. This is an important sign that "summer is near" or the golden age. 

 

37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

 

It is thought that there was a period of global flooding about 12 000 years ago and this is backed up by physical evidence. We are half a precessional cycle away from this period of global flooding  and the period that has existed for the past 12 000 years has been an age of darkness, which has grown increasingly dark, but the next 12 000 years is going to be an age of light with increasing intensity or knowledge, technology and spirituality.

 

25:1“Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2“Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. 3“For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. 5“Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep. 6“But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ 7“Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8“The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9“But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’ 10“And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11“Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ 12“But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13“Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.

 

The brides going to sleep when the bridegroom is gone represents  the soul being asleep while it's in the body. This is the Matrix sleep. The bridegroom comes back at midnight and this is the 12th hour, this may represent the 12th astrological age. The bridegroom returning will bring about a mass awakening.

 

Matthew 27:33, "They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull")  

 

The cross that Jesus Christ died on represents the four elements, the four cardinal directions, the four seasons etc. Jesus Christ being nailed to the cross means that his soul was bound to the physical world and his resurrection came after his death. The name of the hill that Jesus Christ was crucified on is called Golgotha, which means skull, could that be any more of an obvious metaphor for the soul being "crucified" while it is in the body.

 

27:51, "At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection ande went into the holy city and appeared to many people."

 

The temple is a metaphor for the body and the veil that covers the holy of holies from the rest of the temple is the soul. When Jesus died, that veil was torn and his spirit was released. It's interesting that after the veil was torn, then the tombs were opened and other holy people were released from death. As mentioned on this page, death had a different meaning in Jesus' time and it represented the ignorance of the soul and the place it came from.

 

Gospel of Luke

 

Luke 2:7 Jesus was born in a manger because there was no room at the inn. People don't realize the important symbolism in Luke 2:7. People believe that he was born in the stables to demonstrate that he had a humble birth, but spiritually he had a humble birth among humans, because humans are on a lower level. Jesus was born among animals, he was placed in a manger, which is something that food is placed into for animals. The stable where he was born in is the world and the animals are humans. The manger he is placed in is for the animals, or humans, to consume him. What do you think the statement, "this is my body" is about?

 

15:11 Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. 12The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.

 

13“Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. 14After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. 15So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. 16He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.

 

17“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired men.’ 20So he got up and went to his father.

 

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

 

21“The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

 

22“But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.

 

23Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

 

25“Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. 26So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. 27‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’

 

28“The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. 29But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. 30But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’

 

31“‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.'

 

This has the be the most misunderstood passage of the entire Bible. Religions have loved to use this passage and have told people that the prodigal son story is about someone returning to their religion, which they never belonged to before. How can someone return to something they never belonged to before? You can only return to somewhere you used to live. What was Jesus referring to by returning? It only means one thing, that is returning to the place that you used to be before you were born and it means nothing else. It does not mean returning to an Earthly religion. That is materialistic. The prodigal son is about returning to Heaven, which you left. Being lost doesn't mean being lost from a religion, being born again doesn't mean being born again into a religion, being saved doesn't mean being saved by a religion. The part that says, "For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.', is saying that someone is lost from Heaven is dead, not physically, but spiritually, and resurrection means the spirit being resurrected or someone becoming who they were before they entered their bodies.

4:10 When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables. 11He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables 12so that,

“ ‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,

and ever hearing but never understanding;

otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'"

This is a difficult passage for Christians because it is saying that the teaching of Jesus Christ are only for a select few. This is a very Gnostic passage and it shows that while Christianity maybe the biggest religion in the world, only a few will be forgiven. The statement that, "otherwise they might turn and be forgiven", means their souls turn and face the spirit world, rather than the physical world.

 

The Allegory of the Cave has a similar passage that talks about how people turn and gain understanding, "Whereas, our argument shows that the power and capacity of learning exists in the soul already; and that just as the eye was unable to turn from darkness to light without the whole body, so too the instrument of knowledge can only by the movement of the whole soul be turned from the world of becoming into that of being, and learn by degrees to endure the sight of being, and of the brightest and best of being, or in other words, of the good."

 

The song called The Neverending Story starts off with the lines, "Turn around, look at what you see".

 

4:33 "With many similar parables Jesus spoke the word to them, as much as they could understand. 34He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything."

 

This passage makes Jesus Christ and his disciples sound like a secret society that has an inner membership that gets the knowledge and an outer membership that gets only parables to disguise that knowledge. This passage is similar to Mark 7:27 “First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” 28“Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs."

7:27 “First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs.”

28 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “but even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs."

 

Most people fail to see the significance of this particular passage. It may sound like Jesus was being rude to her by calling her a dog, but what he was really saying is that there are children and there are animals, those are the two groups that exist on this Earth. If people aren't like a child, in a non polarised state of being and remembering who they are, they are animals, who have no intelligence, wisdom and no knowledge of who they are. They operate from their base instincts and that is why Jesus called her a dog. The food for the children is the higher level of knowledge and it is not meant for those at a lower level of consciousness. This passage is similar to what Jesus said in Matthew 7:6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

 

13:28 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 29 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door. Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. In terms of knowledge and technoloy, the fruits of civiliztion has ripened and this is a clear indication that summer or the golden age is near.

 

   32 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. 34 It’s like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with their assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.

 

  35 “Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. 36 If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. 37 What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!'"

 

This passage says that the Earth has been handed to Man and responsibility for it is ours. The last statement, "do not let him find you sleeping", isn't talking about physical sleep. It's talking about spiritual sleep of the soul, like what the Matrix was portraying. This statement is telling you to stay spiritually awake, literally. Or if you havn't woken up then wake up.
