The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet.

This is a description of this son that is mentioned on Wikipedia, "The search for "The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet" is an ongoing Internet phenomenon. It involves the attempt of various Internet users from around the world to identify the authorship of an untitled new wave song (unofficially dubbed "Like the Wind" from a repeated verse) whose artist or title have not been identified since its reported airing in a German radio station in 1984."

There are plenty of pages talking about who may have come up with the song and other things such as what the lyrics say, but nobody has tried to figure out the meaning of the song.

"Like the wind

You came here running

Take the consequence of living (The consequences of the soul living in the body.)

There's no space

There's no tomorrow (There's no time as space as far as the soul is concerned.)

There's no sent communications

Check it in, check it out

Or the sun will never shine

They're a long way away

In the subways of your mind (This is the line that gives away that this song has a Gnostic theme. What else is a long way from home in the Underworld where there is no light from the higher world and travels through the mind? The line that says "Check it in, check it out" could be referring to freeing the soul from the subways of the mind.)

Like the wind

You're gonna suffer

Let a smile be your companion (The world is full of suffering.)

There's no place

And there's no sorrow (These two lines could be saying that place, as in the world and sorrow are illusions, which is a primary teaching of Gnosticism and other religions such as Buddhism.)

Hear the young and restless dreaming (The concept of rest and dreaming are major themes in Gnosticism and the occult. The higher world of the spirit is in a state of rest, but in the body it is in a state of restlessness. The spirit is in a restless dream while in the body and the subways of the mind.)

Check it in, check it out

Or the sun will never shine

They're a long way away

In the subways of your mind

Check it in, check it out

Or the sun will never shine

They're a long way away

In the subways of your mind

Check it in, check it out

It's the summer blues

Tear it in, tear it out

It's the real you (In other lyric interpretations it says excuse, but if listened to carefully there is no x sound and it really sounds like the other word. The lyric "It's the real you" is the true self and it matches the theme of the other lyrics of this song. It is saying tear out the soul.)

Check it in, check it out

It's the summer blues

Tear it in, tear it out

It's the real you

Check it in, check it out

It's the summer blues

Tear it in, tear it out

It's the real you

Check it in, check it out

It's the summer blues

Tear it in, tear it out

It's the real you"

The song sounds professional but the band that made it never came out and took credit for it and it was only played once on one radio station in the 1980s. If it wasn't for someone recording it on a cassette tape it would've been lost forever. That is the dumbfounding mystery of this song.
